al-Mas'udi added: "And His veil is the Fire; if He were to unveil it, the radiance of His Face would burn everything His gaze reaches." Then Abu 'Ubaydah recited: "That blessed is whoever is in the fire and whoever is around it."
16124 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Blessed is whoever is in the fire," he says: "Sanctified."
16125 - Abu Sa'id ibn Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid regarding His saying: "That blessed is whoever is in the fire," [he said]: "The fire is blessed." Ibn 'Abbas says the same.
16126 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from 'Ata', from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: "When he came to it, he was called: That blessed is whoever is in the fire," he said: "Allah is in the light, and he was called from the light."
16127 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Ali ibn Hamzah narrated to us, 'Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn Waqid narrated to us, from his father, from Yazid al-Nahwi that 'Ikrimah narrated to him, from Ibn 'Abbas: "That blessed is whoever is in the fire," he said: "That fire was light, and 'whoever is around it,' that blessed is whoever is in the light, and whoever is around the fire."
16128 - Muhammad ibn Sa'd informed us in what he wrote to me, my father narrated to me, my uncle narrated to me, my father narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas: "When he came to it, he was called: That blessed is whoever is in the fire," meaning Himself. He said: "The light of the Lord of the worlds was in the tree and around it."
16129 - My father narrated to us, al-Himmani narrated to us, from Sharik, from 'Ata', from Sa'id: "That blessed is whoever is in the fire," he said: "Allah."
16130 - My father narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Sa'id al-Jawhari narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Abu Shayban, from 'Ikrimah: "That blessed is whoever is in the fire and whoever is around it," he said: "Allah was in His light."
